Participating Practitioners

Over the years it has taken Ian White to develop and refine his unique approach to therapy he has trained many practitioners along the way. During this time Ian found it necessary to apply totally new terms to be able to describe the very different nature of his work and therefore he "coined" the terms affectology and af-x® Therapy. These terms specifically refer to the most up to date and modern form of his approach, and include all the therapeutic advancements made in recent years.

It is common in all therapies for practitioners to continue to work without regard for later advancements made in their fields. They often do not undertake the necessary professional development training and therefore continue to practice earlier forms of therapy in which they were originally trained.

To safeguard your best interests, all participating practitioners involved in this website continue to develop their practice methods under the direction of Ian White, undergo continuous monitoring, and are recognised af-x Practitioners. As registered members of the Council for Affectology Studies (C.A.S.), they all follow strict guidelines in the conduct of quality af-x Therapy and actively participate in the efficacy study research (ESR) system.
